Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 4 ribeye or strip steaks 8 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic smashed
Shrimp Sauce
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 green onions sliced
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • Lemon wedges

Method
 

Cook Steak
  1. Pat steaks dry and season generously with salt and pepper
  2. Heat oil in large skillet over high heat
  3. Sear steaks 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare
  4. Add garlic to pan and baste steaks with butter
  5. Remove steaks and let rest
Prepare Sauce
  1. Reduce heat to medium, add butter to same skillet
  2. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and cook 1-2 minutes per side
  3. Remove shrimp and set aside
  4. Add cream and broth to skillet, simmer until slightly reduced
  5. Whisk in Parmesan until smooth
Finish and Serve
  1. Return shrimp to sauce, add green onions
  2. Slice steaks against the grain
  3. Spoon sauce and shrimp over steaks
  4. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges
