Philly Cheesesteak Tortellini Pasta

Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 500 g cheese tortellini
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g ribeye or sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup provolone or mozzarella cheese shredded

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Thinly slice the steak, onion, and bell pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sear steak slices until browned; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté onion and pepper until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Deglaze the pan with beef broth, then stir in heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Finishing
  1. Return steak and tortellini to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
  2. Sprinkle with cheese and cover until melted. Serve immediately.
