Ingredients
  

For the Cocktail
  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 oz Espresso cooled
  • ¾ oz Simple Syrup
  • Ice
For Garnish
  • 3 whole Coffee Beans

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Ensure your espresso is freshly brewed and cooled to room temperature.
  2. Chill your martini glass in the freezer or fill with ice water.
Mixing
  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, cooled espresso, and simple syrup.
  2. Fill the shaker generously with ice.
  3. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until the shaker is frosty and a thick foam forms.
Serving
  1. Empty the chilled martini glass of any ice water.
  2. Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass to ensure a smooth texture.
  3. Garnish with three whole coffee beans floated on top of the foam.
