Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Toppings
  • Fresh berries
  • Sliced banana
  • Toasted coconut flakes
  • Chopped nuts
  • Additional drizzle of honey

Method
 

Prepare Base
  1. In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with 2 tablespoons of warm water until smooth and no lumps remain.
  2. In a jar or container with lid, combine oats, matcha mixture, milk, yogurt, honey, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  4. Add any optional add-ins at this stage if using.
Refrigerate
  1. Seal container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  2. The oats will soften and absorb the liquid, creating a creamy pudding-like consistency.
Serve
  1. Stir oats before serving. If too thick, add a splash of milk to reach desired consistency.
  2. Top with fresh fruit, nuts, coconut, or other preferred toppings.
  3. Enjoy cold straight from the refrigerator.
