Lemon Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Buttery Zesty Irresistibly Flaky

Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
For the Rolls
  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent rolls
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a small bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and lemon zest until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the filling is set.
Glaze and Serve
  1. While the rolls are cooling, whisk together the powdered sugar and 1-2 tbsp lemon juice until a smooth glaze forms.
  2. Drizzle the glaze generously over the warm crescent rolls.
  3. Serve immediately or at room temperature.
