Four Ingredient Condensed Milk Cake

The Core Ingredients
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour sifted
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Grease and line a 9-inch loaf pan or round cake tin with parchment paper.
Mixing the Batter
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until light and frothy.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and melted butter, whisking until completely smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the sifted self-rising flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
Baking and Cooling
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  2. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
