Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Grease and line a 9-inch loaf pan or round cake tin with parchment paper.
Mixing the Batter
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until light and frothy.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and melted butter, whisking until completely smooth.
- Gently fold in the sifted self-rising flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
Baking and Cooling
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
