Prepare
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheet
- Roll out puff pastry slightly on floured surface
- Cut into triangles or rectangles depending on desired shape
Add Chocolate
- Place chocolate pieces at wide end of pastry
- Roll up pastry, enclosing chocolate completely
- Place seam-side down on baking sheet
Bake
- Brush with egg wash (egg beaten with water)
- Sprinkle with coarse sugar if desired
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden
Serve
- Cool slightly before serving
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired
- Best served warm when chocolate is melted
