Ingredients
  

Beef
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
Pasta
  • 12 oz medium pasta shells
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra Parmesan

Method
 

Cook
  1. Brown ground beef with onions and garlic
  2. Add tomato paste and cook 1 minute
Simmer
  1. Add broth, cream and seasonings
  2. Stir in uncooked pasta
  3. Simmer covered for 15 minutes
Finish
  1. Stir in Parmesan until melted
  2. Season with salt and pepper
Serve
  1. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan
  2. Let rest 5 minutes before serving
