  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 celery stalks diced

  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
Buffalo Component
  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
Garnishes
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery leaves
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • Celery sticks for serving

Method
 

Prepare Base
  1. Melt butter in large pot over medium heat
  2. Add onion, celery, and carrots, cook until softened
  3. Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes
Build Soup
  1. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth
  2. Bring to simmer and cook until slightly thickened
  3. Add shredded chicken and hot sauce
  4. Simmer for 15 minutes to blend flavors
Finish and Serve
  1. Stir in ranch dressing and Worcestershire sauce
  2. Add blue cheese crumbles and paprika
  3. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper
