Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 batch brownies baked and cooled (9x13 pan)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate frosting or cream cheese frosting
Coating
  • 16 oz chocolate coating chocolate or melting wafers
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening
Decorations
  • Sprinkles crushed nuts, or cocoa powder
  • Sea salt flakes for garnish

Method
 

Prepare Brownie Crumbs
  1. Crumble completely cooled brownies into fine crumbs
  2. Add frosting and mix until uniform consistency
Form Truffles
  1. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls
  2. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet
  3. Freeze for 30 minutes until firm
Coat Truffles
  1. Melt coating chocolate with coconut oil until smooth
  2. Using forks or dipping tools, dip each truffle into chocolate
  3. Tap off excess chocolate and return to parchment
  4. Immediately add decorations before chocolate sets
Set and Serve
  1. Allow chocolate to completely set at room temperature
  2. Store in airtight container at room temperature
  3. Serve at room temperature for best texture
