Prepare Chicken
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness
- Season with salt, pepper, and dust with cornstarch
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
Cook Chicken
- Add chicken to skillet and cook until golden (5-6 minutes per side)
- Remove chicken and set aside
- Reduce heat to medium
Make Sauce
- In same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant (30 seconds)
- Add brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and pepper flakes
- Simmer until slightly thickened (2-3 minutes)
Finish Dish
- Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce
- Simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce clings to chicken
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions
- Serve over steamed rice
