Baked Ranch Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix ranch seasoning mix with mayonnaise until well combined.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in the baking dish.
Cooking
  1. Spread the ranch and mayonnaise mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  2. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the coated chicken breasts.
  3. In another bowl, combine crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle this mixture on top of the chicken.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and topping is golden brown.
Finishing
  1. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
