Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill for medium-high heat.
- Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy skin.
- In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Toss the chicken legs with olive oil and the dry rub until evenly coated.
- Place the chicken on a wire rack over a baking sheet (for oven) or directly on the grill grates.
- Bake or grill for 30-35 minutes, turning once, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Glazing
- While the chicken cooks, whisk together the BBQ sauce, honey, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Generously brush the sauce over the chicken legs during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
- Let the sauce caramelize and become sticky before removing from heat.
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
